Jade Lingard is a contemporary photographer incorporating influences from fairy tales, fantasy and the cinematic in her fashion photography. By combining all of these areas she makes clear, the construction and illusion of the fashion image, yet still seducing her viewers to believe the fabrication of her work.

Equally confident in the studio and on location, Jade most enjoys working on location and exploiting her subjects’ surroundings to extend the narrative of her photographs and vision.

Her work is experimental, playful and animated, often utilising chiaroscuro lighting techniques and a careful control of colour to bring drama, and create a recognisable style throughout her images.
